DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
In Paris, Director Lisa Maarek studied the history of cinema and the film noir genre. With the creation of Smoke Break, she wishes to implement her studies. Lisa grew up within the cultural melting pot of Miami. Inspired by her roots, she will work closely with Miami locals to make her vision come to life.

Milton is excited to join the Smoke Break team and is looking forward to sharing in the growth of budding these budding filmmakers! SoFlo grown, NYC honed - Milton has worked with rising and established theatre and film makers across the east coast.
Ava Carnemolla is a 23-year-old actress and model based in South Florida. Originally from Long Island, New York, she has been living in Florida for the past five years and loves meeting new people inside and outside of work. When she is not acting, she enjoys being active and trying any hobby that sparks creativity and keeps life exciting.
Daniel Leverette is a reent graduate from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in Advertising. He learned a lot about media and filmmaking during his time at UF, and is excited to help work on this film!

Krystal Ramos is a musician and lifelong storyteller whose first love has always been acting. After picking up odd roles here and there, she’s now diving back in with fresh passion. Krystal is excited to turn her lifelong dream into her next big adventure.
Zachary Molinelli as "Bartender #2"
Zachary is an actor, writer, professional daydreamer, and all-around creative mischief-maker based in Florida. He loves bringing stories to life and believes every project is just another excuse to have a little too much fun. He is always ready with a laugh , and is excited to dive into new adventures on screen.
